The Village of Long Grove has several key commissions/committees that serve as advisory bodies to the Village Board. These commissions/committees include:
- Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals (PCZBA)
The PCZBA focuses on development, plan review, and recommendations for zoning changes. - Architectural Commission (AC)
The AC reviews building requests including signage with an emphasis on aesthetics and harmony within the Village. - Conservancy/Scenic Corridor Committee (CSCC)
The CSCC advises in regard to conservancy districts and scenic corridors. - Economic Development Commission (EDC)
The purpose of the EDC is to attract businesses to Long Grove as described in the Village’s Comprehensive Plan and serve as an advisory body in matters related to businesses in the community. - Pathway (ad hoc) Committee (PC): The PC reviews all pathway plans and focuses on developing and interconnecting all pathways in the Village.
