Grant Information

The Village is proud to offer two grant programs that aim to support and enhance the quality of life in our community. These programs are the Community Building Grant Program and the Invasive Species Remediation Grant Program.

The Community Building Grant Program is designed to provide financial assistance to local organizations and groups that promote community-building activities and initiatives in Long Grove. The grant funds can be used for various purposes, including organizing community events, enhancing public spaces, and promoting local culture and heritage. The grant program is an important part of the Village Board's efforts to support and strengthen the community of Long Grove. Investing in local organizations and groups can create a more vibrant, connected, and thriving community for all residents and visitors.

The Invasive Species Remediation Grant Program is designed to provide financial assistance to property owners in Long Grove who wish to remove invasive plant species from their properties. The grant funds can cover the materials, equipment, and labor costs associated with invasive species removal. This grant program is an important part of the Village's efforts to protect and preserve our community's natural beauty and biodiversity. Invasive species can cause significant damage to ecosystems and habitats, and by removing them, we can ensure that our natural areas remain healthy and vibrant for generations to come.

Both grant programs have specific eligibility criteria, application procedures, and reporting requirements that must be met to qualify for funding. Detailed information about each grant program can be found on our website, including policy documents, application forms, and contact information for program administrators. We encourage all eligible organizations, groups, and property owners to review the policy documents carefully and submit their applications by the deadlines indicated.

The Village is committed to supporting and enhancing the quality of life in Long Grove and believes that these grant programs are important tools for achieving that goal.

Thank you for your interest and participation in these programs, and we look forward to working with you to make Long Grove an even better place to live, work, and play.
