Long Grove: Environmental Pioneer
Long Grove was an early leader in the environmental movement and was one of the first communities in Illinois to enact environmental regulations. The effort was focused on protecting and managing wetlands, surface water, and subsurface water to promote high-quality waters to serve the community's needs.
