New Business Pre-Occupancy Inspection Request

In order to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy, a new business must schedule and pass building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing inspections for the space which they plan to occupy. Please complete and submit this form to the Building Department, minimum 2 business days prior to your desired inspection date.

Inspection fees:

Businesses, downtown Long Grove historic district: $180.00; re-inspections cost $45.00 each.

Businesses, non-historic district: $320.00; re-inspections cost $80.00 each

Please pay online and email the payment confirmation page to the Building Department.

The Building Department will need to receive your payment confirmation prior to scheduling the inspections.
