Tree removal permit application for dead, diseased, and/or non-protected species trees only.*

$5.00 application fee required.

Pay the $5.00 fee online at www.longgroveil.gov . After making payment, please email the payment confirmation page to mromanello@longgroveil.gov .Thank you.

* Ash trees (due to ash borer disease) and trees severely damaged or downed by storms do not require a permit. We encourage you to proceed with those removals and ask that, as a courtesy, you inform the Village office when removing ash trees or storm-damaged trees. Thank you.

Removal of protected species trees (see chart below) requires submittal of the "Long Form" application.
